The DKG-090 is a DIN rail mounted GSM Modem designed to be connected to various Datakom modules for internet monitoring and control through the RAINBOW SCADA monitoring system. It also supports e-mail and SMS sending.

The modem uses the 2G GPRS band. Therefore it operates anywhere, even in case of low signal strength.

The module powers-up with externally supplied 12V or 24V DC. It connects to Datakom odules through RS-232 serial port. The baud rate is automatically detected and adjustable through master modules.

The programming of DKG-090 is done through the master module. The modem itself does not require any programming and is directly compatible with all below listed Datakom modules.

The 1800-1900MHz magnetic GSM antenna is supplied together with the modem. It has 2 meter cable and intended to be placed outside of the control panel.

The module requires a GPRS enabled SIM card for full functionality. Voice-only type SIM cards will usually not function properly.
